Curved brickwork defines the new headquarters of Smart Design Studio. Located in North Alexandria, Stokes Avenue 14 shows the junction between dark and light brickwork in both exterior and interior settings. With conservation being a key principle, brick also served as a crucial element in allowing the project to align with old heritage warehouses surrounding the inner city neighbourhood. We sat down with the practice’s Creative Director, William Smart, to learn more about this iconic project.
