Rooted in a passion for harmonising the familiar with the unexpected, they are committed to delivering transformative commercial and hospitality projects that position people and placemaking at the core of their philosophy.
They are creators of destinations where people gather, connect, and thrive. Their dedication to placemaking, coupled with a people-centric approach, ensures that their projects transcend the ordinary, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts and minds of those who experience them. With a number of national and international awards to their name, their work is collaboratively crafted, artfully considered, and inspired by enduring design solutions.
In 2018 studio gram were awarded the prestigious Emerging Interior Practice of the Year at the World Interior News Awards, and in 2022, awarded the Emerging Architect Prize at the SA Architecture Awards.
In 2023, the Monarto Safari Park Visitor Centre, in collaboration with Intro Architecture, received the highest honour in the Australian Institute of Architects’ SA Architecture Awards - the SA Medal.
This event will be hosted by Stephen Varady, architect and collaborator, who shares Brickworks passion for architecture, design and innovation.

A definite relationship between Architecture, interiors, and object has been the driving force behind the conception of projects with a focus on crafting the highest quality environments, rich with narrative and layered experiential qualities, amplifying the particular environmental, social, cultural and economic conditions of a site.
Whilst his project work, and that of the studio’s, has been awarded Nationally and Internationally on multiple occasions, his personal contribution to the Architectural profession has been recognised as the recipient of the UniSA AIA Advancement of Architecture Prize, the Jack Hobbs McConnell Fellowship, the SA Emerging Architect Prize, as well as being included in Mezzanine Magazines ‘Top 20 under 40 designers’ in Australia, and The Advertisers list of most influential South Australians.
