There’s a Nubrik on the Block
test of time. Their crisp edges, refined profile, rich colour blends and sleek patina have rendered them extremely popular amongst the architecture and design sphere, and are commonly selected as the top choice for the discerning builder, homeowner and architect.
Developed throughout months of extensive trials in Brickworks’ Wollert plant, the product development team created a truly special product: Nubrik Australia. This beautiful pressed brick has a timeless finish, subtle marbling and a stunning yet refined character. The marbling and patina allows the clay to mimic natural rock, creating distinctive and appealing multicoloured tones.
Ideal for those wanting a design style that is simultaneously simple yet elevated, Nubrik Australia has all the qualities and characteristics to create a truly remarkable project through refined, timeless design.
A streamlined yet diverse colour range, the Nubrik Australis range is available in four different tones. The first, Wave Rock, is a warm textured tone. This option has an almost mottled effect and an apricot undertone. Murray Sunset is a light terracotta, slightly cooler than Wave Rock and more subtle in its profile. Murray Sunset would be the ideal option for a homeowner after a rustic yet classic design style. Coorong is the ultimate earthy option, reminiscent of the rich brown colours found within the natural landscape, Coorong features tones of taupe, charcoal brown and sand in the one profile. Hotham Peak is the final colourway; similar to Coorong but slightly darker, this option is more than dramatic that the former, and is sure to imbue your home with a distinct materiality.
Whilst sleek and refined in form, Nubrik is reminiscent of the rich texture and materiality found in Australia's natural landscape. From the rich terracotta tones of Murray Sunset and Wave Rock, to the grounded earthiness of Coorong and Hotham Peak, the tones and textures within these bricks emulate and pay homage to the abundance of natural texture found in our local landscape.
Each of the four bricks have a significant geographical namesake. The first, Wave Rock takes its inspiration from the stunning rock formation in Western Australia, abundant with rich textural and tonal depth. Murray Sunset is named after the National Park in Victoria, with its beautiful pink and terracotta sands and waters. Coorong is named after and inspired by the tones of the native landscape of the Coorong National Park and finally, Hotham Peak takes its inspiration from the rugged tops of Mount Hotham in the Victorian Alps.
Whichever colourway you choose, Nubrik Australis is the perfect way to pay homage to Australia’s beautiful landscape, whilst retaining a sleek, refined material profile.
